The board of directors of the Arizona Jewelers Association has voted Craig A. Lynch G.G a local independent jewelry appraiser as president of the association.  The Arizona Jewelers Association is a Non- Profit educational organization which represents approximately 250 jewelry related business in Arizona.  The AJA is involved in jewelry industry education, promotes and  requires ethical business practices for it’s members and is a advocate for consumer issues and consumer education related to gems and jewelry.

Mr. Craig A. Lynch of Ouellet and Lynch an independent jewelry appraisal firm in Phoenix Az. and Vice President of the Arizona Jewelers Association has been working on a five month investigation with local news Channel 3.   Gary Harper,  producers of “3 on your side” and the Arizona Jewelers Association were out to help a local couple who purchased approximately $34,000.00 of jewelry at a local auction. The jewelry was accompanied by so called “Jewelry Appraisals” which greatly exaggerated the retail value of the items listed at auction. Mr. Lynch provide an independent retail appraisal of three of the pieces of jewelry which contrasted the values represented at the auction.   See broadcast.
