Craig A. Lynch G.G. has been named to the board of governors of the international Accredited Gemologist Association for a three year term. The Accredited Gemologist Association was found in 1970 as a advanced gemological and educational organization with membership extending to professional gemologists around the world. The AGA holds two conferences a year highlighting new gem finds from around the world as well as new diamond and gemstone treatments, and their subsequent methods of detection. Mr. Lynch has been assigned to work on the consumer fraud committee focusing on identification of scams and fraudulent practices related to gems and jewelry and working with local, state, and federal government agencies to protect consumers and jewelry industry members alike.
